Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is an emollient that softens the skin. Derived from the seeds of an evergreen shrub native to the American Southwest, it is cold-pressed to maintain the most nutrients possible as the seed is crushed to an oil. As a skincare product, it has anti-inflammatory properties that help in reducing redness and easing symptoms of issues like eczema and extreme dryness.

Lavender

A native flowering plant of the Old World, lavender is known for aromatherapeutic benefits of soothing stress and improving moods. Its scent produces a relaxing atmosphere, while as an oil it acts as an anti-bacterial that can fight off acne when applied topically.

Tallow

Derived from the fatty tissue of cattle, tallow has been treasured for centuries, with recorded use in Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome for its hydrating and healing benefits. Its structure closely resembles human skin, allowing it to absorb easily while also strengthening the skin’s barrier with nutrients. Rich in vitamins A, D, E and K and high in conjugated linoleic acid, tallow nourishes deeply, supports elasticity and encourages rejuvenation. As a restorative steward, it soothes dryness and leaves a supple, resilient glow.

Sandalwood

Sandalwood is a small tree native to Western Australia, India and the Philippines. Its distinctive scent has been highly valued for centuries in aromatherapy for its grounding essence. It boasts anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, antiseptic and hydrating properties in skincare.

Snow Mushroom Extract

Also known as tremella, the snow mushroom grows on decaying branches in wild tropical and subtropical climates; its use in skincare dates to Ancient China. Its strength lies in its ability to improve the skin barrier’s capacity to retain water, allowing the skin to remain hydrated for extended periods of time after topical application. Snow mushroom extract has shown to have 15% more hydrating properties than hyaluronic acid.

Sweet Orange

First cultivated in China, sweet orange supports skin health by helping to limit the microorganisms that can trigger acne-related inflammation. It works gently to encourage a clearer, more balanced complexion while maintaining the skin’s natural vitality. Beyond its purifying benefits, sweet orange carries a fresh, uplifting aroma that promotes a sense of well-being.

Squalane

Squalane is a lightweight, plant-derived oil that mimics the skin’s natural sebum. It deeply hydrates, restores suppleness and strengthens the barrier without clogging pores. Its antioxidant properties help reduce fine lines, soothe irritation and promote a radiant, balanced complexion.

Vanilla Bean

Vanilla bean is rich in antioxidants that protect against aging while soothing irritation and redness. Its antibacterial properties help maintain clear, healthy pores, making it ideal for sensitive skin. Along with its calming aroma, vanilla nourishes the skin, leaving it soft, balanced and refreshed for a radiant appearance.
